What We Collect
When you use Oriva, we collect only what’s needed to make real-time payment and bill-splitting work:
- Your name (for bill identification)
- Your item selections and share of payment
- Transaction success data via Stripe
What We Never Collect
We never see, store, or touch your credit card number. All payment processing is handled securely by Stripe — a certified PCI Service Provider Level 1.
How We Use Data
Your data is used exclusively to:
- Sync bill splits in real time across guests
- Confirm who has paid (for transparency)
- Close out the table or session smoothly
We don’t sell, share, or use your data for advertising. Ever.
Data Retention
Your session data is stored for up to 7 days after payment completion to support receipt re-delivery, dispute resolution, and restaurant records. After that, it's wiped from our system.
Your Rights
You can request deletion of your payment session or personal info at any time by contacting us at connect@orivapay.com.
